As we approach the end of a difficult year let's pivot from the COVID “C” word to others like confidence, cooking, caravan, clothes and caring by giving to women and young people whose experiences have isolated them further.

Cooking classes for women
$100 will support a woman to learn new cooking skills over a 4 week program.

Caravan
Support our outreach to communities by contributing towards the purchase of a customised food caravan $50, $100, $1000 - every dollar will get us closer to our goal.

Clothes
Clothes, uniforms and protective clothing are crucial for clients participating in our programs and as they start to explore work and social/ recreational opportunities.

“Companion planting"
We love this term to describe our gardening program as it states what we hope for our clients, that they can come together and create garden beds and nurture growth. $5 will buy seeds or a vegetable seedling, $25 will buy a trowel or a pair of gardening gloves, $400 will buy a large portable garden bed or 2 small ones.

Care packages
$150 will give a young person or woman a bit of TLC.

 

Your donation creates a variety of opportunities for our clients. Because of you we will be able to:

  • provide resources to remove the barriers our clients are experiencing that limit their community engagement, work experience and learning/training

  • provide training and learning opportunities

  • provide work-experience in our events, as well as through local businesses and organisations in their community

  • gift tools, equipment or clothing for work experience

  • provide resources to help get clients to get to their training and work experience opportunities

  • fund our in-house projects

  • offer individualised support programs for clients who are not eligible for other funding. This removes a significant barrier, opening up opportunities that might not be available to them.

  • provide counselling and support

  • teach social and life skills

  • facilitate job-readiness or learning readiness work - such as coaching for employment or other needs

  • create end to end support for clients who are disengaged, disenfranchised and have complex needs to gain employment or re-engage with learning and education
